Melville started his career in the insurance industry with Liberty Life in 1983 where he honed his skills as a member of the Financial Advisory team for a little over nine years.
Melville believed that he could be of better service to his clients by offering products that suited his clients' individual needs rather than trying to conform to the standard offerings of a single insurance company and so opened his own Intermediary practice , MRB Financial Services, in 1993.
Trish joined Melville as his Administrative Manager after spending 10 years in the banking world and 12 years in direct marketing.
Her career in banking and marketing afforded her the opportunity to develop the skills needed to be a successful business owner and team leader. Working with Melville reinforced her desire to run her own business and to help people. Out of that passion MRB Financial Services – Short Term Insurance was launched.
Mel Hains joined MRB Financial Services in January 2015 as the Office Manager. She has 7 years previous Short Term Insurance experience.
Her passion is ensuring our clients have a favourable claims experience and streamlining the operating systems of the office.
Customer service and client relationships are of paramount importance to the MRB Financial Services team.
Having access to a network of special insurers affords us the benefit of being able to access a large number of niche products that would ordinarily not be available to our clients. This, in turn, enables us to create the most cost-effective, bespoke insurance solutions that meet the individual needs of each of our clients.
